There are many things to see and do, just on your doorstep, from fantastic walks in glorious Scottish countryside, taking in the famous Sir Henry Moore sculptures, riverside and forest paths or country roads/byways to cycle.
Red squirrels, deer and buzzards abound,
museums, cinemas, golf courses, adventure parks, aqua centres, paint balling , pubs, and shops/supermarkets (24 Hour), all lie within a short drive.
Converted from a former barn in 2005, and split into two, our cottages provide superb (STB 4 star) accommodation with uninterrupted views over local hills and fantastic sunsets. They have been equipped to a very high standard with quality fitments. Both cottages are south-west facing with ample parking, a private patio and garden area.
On site we have our own free range hens , two horses to be petted and Tara the ball mad dog. The cottages sit at the end of a short private drive off a quiet country road.
Our Four star self catering cottages are located in a quiet rural area, ideally situated for walking, fishing, cycling and exploring Dumfries and Galloway. The stunning coastline of South West Scotland is just twenty minutes away, where you can choose between sandy beaches or quiet coastal villages. The area is steeped in local history, with fabulous castles, abbeys and many other visitor attractions.
